A sampler from the "Summer Garden" series, which includes 4 color options (see photo):
✿Aurora
✿Meridian
✿Midnight
✿Twilight
Each variant contains 2 schemes of different levels of difficulty: cross and cross + petite.
Also, there are decorative stitches in each pattern.
✿This series of schemes was used for a joint project, where embroiderers created many different summer gardens, because the design leaves room for creativity.
Size: 163 x 163 crosses.
Actual size:
✘ 25 ct ~ 34 cm. ~ 13”
✘ 28 ct ~ 30 cm. ~ 12”
✘ 30 ct ~ 28 cm. ~ 11”
✘ 32 ct ~ 26 cm ~ 10.5”
✘ 36 ct ~ 24 cm. ~ 10”
✘ 40 ct ~ 21 cm. ~ 11.5”
Difficulty levels:
❖Low “Cross stitch” (right) — 23382 stitches, including crosses, 3⁄4 cross, backstitch, decorative stitches, frieze.
Recommended fabric:
In this case, the choice of fabric was very difficult, because all light shades fit the design - from milky to sandy. I chose two options that will be comfortable enough for embroidery with a petite:
❖Vanilla Lugana 25 ct Zweigart (3835/274)
❖Cream Cashel 28 ct. Zweigart (3281/222)
I advise you to view other options at the linkhttps://drive.google.com/drive/
You can calculate the necessary fabric cut herehttps://millefleur.in.ua/ua/recruitment
When choosing a fabric count, first of all, the experience of performing decorative stitches and petites on different counts should be taken into account.
Threads:
❖ 26 shades of muslin DMC: 152, 223, 225, 372, 407, 500(1-2), 632, 730, 733, 758, 924(3-4), 930(3), 931(2-3) , 932(2), 935(1-2), 3012, 3051, 3053, 3363, 3722, 3752, 3772, 3820, 3821, 3822, 3857;
❖Thread costsdepend on the selected count and the level of complexity of the selected elements;
❖ Alternate options, tweaked from own stock, provided byhttps://drive. google.com/drive/The key in Soi d'Alger is selected according to the color map;
❖ Please note that the costs of muline are indicated based on the calculation of the execution of crosses and petits in 2 folds. If they are performed in 3 threads, it is worth multiplying the costs by a factor of 1.5. The execution of decorative stitches is counted in 2 folds, but this will depend on the chosen count and type of thread.
Other materials. The key is provided in the DMC thread, but I'd recommend adding some highlights to the sampler:
❖ Having completely or partially replaced some shades of mouliné with melange threads;
❖ Having chosen satin, silk, metallized threads, Pearle or Iris type threads, or other interesting threads that you have long wanted to try;
❖ Add beads or beads, charms or treasures, buttons or other sewing elements to the materials.
Don't hold back your creativity! I wish you inspiration!
